Cross Country Clinic with
Andy Lovell – Saturday 10 April 2010
We had a
great response to the Andy Lovell X’country clinic and a total of 14 people
attended - seven of which were non RC members.
After receiving all the information regarding everyone’s experience and
what they hoped to achieve out of the lesson, we then split people into 3
groups.
On the
day we could not have wished for better weather, it was glorious.
I was jumping in the first group on my new boy Frank and was extremely
nervous, but after about 10 minutes my confidence was growing!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and people were full of what
they had achieved with their horses at the end of the session.
(My husband did tell me off for not jumping that big bank at the end;
however after Frank saw Tally scrambling over; there was no way he was doing
it!).
Since
the day, I have had messages from several people who did not attend this clinic
asking me to keep them posted when the next one was being arranged.
In addition most of the riders who attended on Saturday wish to be
included on the next clinic! Andy
Lovell is an excellent instructor for boosting your confidence and making you
feel like you can jump a five bar gate!
I will
keep you posted on the new date; however watch out for Frank and me at Badminton
on the 2nd May!
